What are Hybrid Sunscreens, are they of any benefit over regular sunscreen? Are they worth buying or just expensive.

  1. Hybrid sunscreens means those sunscreen that have both chemical and mineral ingredients to it and is offering broad-spectrum protection against UVA and UVB rays. They are thought to be less irritating, light weight feel and blends smooth into the skin without leaving white cast.

    Being said that hybrid sunscreen are not necessarily more effective then the regular ones. Most important is the amount your apply, if you apply good amount of regular sunscreen that will work fine for you. Remember “The best sunscreen is the one you’ll use consistently”. So if you can spend then u can go for hybrid, else regular is all fine and will give almost equal protection if you apply good amount on regular interval.
