The oil is rich in a compound known as terpinen-4-ol that helps kill the responsible parasite. It is very simple to use tea tree oil to treat your scabies.

    Mix 1 tbsp. of tea tree oil with the equal amount of olive oil. Dip a cotton ball into this solution and dab on the affected skin parts. Repeat the process twice in a day for two to three weeks. It is useful to reduce swelling and pain while enhancing the healing process. You can add 10 to 12 drops of pure tea tree oil to a bathtub filled with lukewarm water. Soak yourself in this water twice daily for a few weeks.
