Thread: Upper body rash

    Default Upper body rash

I've had a rash for the last 10 days that doesn't seem to be getting any better. It started with a few spots by my armpits. Within a few days it cover both of my sides and my chest and stomach. I feel fine, no fever. It's also not very itchy. What could I have and when does it start to go away. I went to a doctor and he figured it was viral. Can anything help it go away? Mostly red spots with blotches here and there.

Hi Jon! Welcome to dermatalk. If your doctor confirmed it to be viral , it should be resolving on its own with time. None other than symptomatic treatment may be required. Like if its itchy calamine lotion or antihistamines may be used.
