Effective treatment for milia

my brother have milia on his face.Doctor suggest for surgical treatment but he insist as it may further lead to scars and all. So are there any effective medical treatment for milia please

No such topical or systemic medications are effective milia. Only one case case reports the success of topical isotretinoin, oral etretinate15 and minocycline in treating patients with milia. So if it doesn't bother him just leave it as it is, else have a surgical removal
