i think there's a cream called vantex for your problem, but you can only get it through prescription so ask your dermatologist. but for now, stay out of the sun so that you won't aggravate it more.
Can anyone suggest me, how can I get rid of my upper lip pigmentation? I have a dusky complexion but otherwise my skin is clear and without any scars. The only problem is pigmentation in my upper lip area and around my mouth. How should I treat it? Many thanks.

Thank you very much for suggesting me that cream chique.I'll surely go for it. Can you tell me if there is any natural or herbal treatment for it? Can scrubs or salicylic acid help in treating that?
Alice, I think we have the same case. I have a dark upper lip. I am even ask sometimes if I smoke I do not smoke. I want it to be of the same color with my lower lip. I am grateful you brought this up. I will try Alice's advice too. And I will wait for the herbal treatment you asked.
if you have a dark lips, i think, you will need apply Vaseline to your lips regularly. Ghee is also very good, apply a little ghee every night. This keeps lips moisturised. You could also apply lemon juice to your lips daily, to lighten them slightly. Wear lipstick with sunscreen, as uv radiation may cause pigmentation.
What kind of Vaseline product should I apply to my lips? You mean Vaseline moisturizer? I haven't heard of Ghee here in our country. Maybe it is not available here in the Philippines. About the lemon juice, I will try it. Thank you for the tip.
We have the opposite condition! my upper lip is way lighter than my lower lip and I don't know why. It hasb't been a big problem for me because I just use lip gloss to make the color match. But still. I think not using a lot of lip stick should help even out the skin color. And salicylic acid is only for acne right?
