Yup Lumigan has the same medication and strength as Latisse, and its cheaper, but lumigan is prescribed for glaucoma or ocular hypertension, while Latisse is prescribed for growing your eyelashes longer and thicker. You may try using Latisse... Your doctor can't prescribe Lumigan for non glaucoma patients, so if u have access to buy Lumigan without prescription you may try it. But it is wise to consult ophthalmologist before trying.

Give it a try then, but remember if applied inappropriately there are other series of side effects, do learn in details about lumigan, before planning for it.

Lumigan (generic name: Bimatoprost) is an ophthalmic solution proven to lower IOP in people with open-angle glaucoma or ocular hypertension.

Lumigan eye drops lower the pressure in the eye by helping the flow of fluid out of the eye chamber.

Lumigan eye drops can be used alone or together with other eyedrops/medicines to lower raised pressure within your eyes.
