Ok, there are 3 things to check – texture, body and pattern.
The texture can be fine or coarse.
Fine hair is usually thin and is apt to be limp.
Coarse hair is strong and is frequently wiry. If it is curly, it can be hard to manage.
You can also have hair that is between fine and coarse, and this is usually the easiest to manage.
The next point to consider is whether it is thick or thin. Thick hair means there is lot of it, whether it is fine or coarse. If you live in a warm or hot climate, you are more likely to have thick hair – it seems to thrive under sun.
Now think about the actual pattern of your hair – is it curly, wavy or straight? The more you go along with the normal tendencies of your hair, the easier it is to take care of it.
So, what’s your hair type and how do you take care of it?
