Smile Can anyone reccomend any skincare/nutrition books?

    Hello!
As you may, or may not know, I am very passionate about skincare, biology and nutrition and the role in which our diet has in preventing us from catching common illnesses.
This is not to say I am very knowledgeable in this areas-just interested!
So my question is, can anyone reccomend me any books on any of the above topics? I love to read informative books! I live in the UK, but if you know of any good ones on Amazon or such websites, please let me know!
I am starting a Level 3 Beauty Therapy course in September, specialising in facials and massage, I want to be prepared!
    Thankyou.
    x

I can't recommend any specific books about a skin/diet connection (because I honestly haven't read any!) but until you find one, you could satiate yourself with the studies the internet has to offer.

There's a few good ones that interested me when I went searching for info. Example: If you consume a lot of L-carnitine & alpha-lipoic-acid, it increases the antioxidant activity in your liver, blood serum and (cue dramatic music) skin!
If your search yields any juicy results, be sure to share with us!

Thank you for your help guys. I much prefer reading books than trawling the internet, it can be such a chore.
Books I have read so far are mainly on nutrition which is also useful for our skin, they are; Healing Foods- Reader's Digest and Nutritional Healing- Denise Mortimore.
Both very good, I hope to hear of a reccomendation, it would make my life alot easier.

Have you been to your local library? It may give you some info you need without the cost of purchasing books.

quantumn eating by tonya zavista is a good book. She's a raw foodist. The book is a basically about eating raw food at certain times of the day, letting a window of fasting so your body has a chance to heal itself.
