Thumbs up Natural tips to remove blackheads

    Honey
Warm some honey and place it on trouble areas for 10 15 minutes. Wash off. Honey is a well known and effective method of removing blackheads from the skin.
    Baking Soda & Water

Combine 3 tablespoons of baking soda with 3 tablespoons of water. Rub this solution on your skin for a few minutes, and rinse with warm water for effective blackhead extraction.

    Lemon Juice

Use lemon juice directly from the lemon on areas affected with blackheads two to three times a day. The juice will help tighten your pores and make the environment of the face less prone to blackheads. Limes will work just as well if no lemons are available.

    Rose & Oatmeal Mask

This treatment is great to get rid of the blackheads you already have and prevent future break outs. Mix oatmeal powder with rose water to make a paste. Spread the paste on your face with fingertips and allow it to sit for 15 minutes before rinsing. Focus on the T-zone and other problems areas like the chin. Rinse this blackhead removing mask off with cold water. The cold water closes the newly cleaned pores, protecting against future blackheads.

    Potatoes

Grated raw potatoes can be used to treat all kinds of skin problems including pimples, wrinkles, whiteheads and blackheads. Pack potatoes directly on problem areas to extract blackheads.

    Radish Seeds

A paste made out of ground radish seeds and water applied to the face right on the site of a blackhead is an effective blemish remover. Leave the paste on for about 15 minutes before rinsing with warm water.

Thumbs up How to Remove Blackheads Safely and Easily

No matter what you call them — blackheads, pimples, or zits —
they’re all symptoms of an underlying skin problem. Blackheads appear when there’s a buildup of oil in your pores, causing dead skin cells to clog the area. When exposed to the air, the lesion turns color. Hormone problems, poor eating habits, excessive use of makeup, and bad hygiene can all cause blackheads to form. And blackheads are particularly persistent, as they can last for weeks and don’t respond well to being squeezed or popped. Popping blackheads can be dangerous because the oil and bacteria can spread to other parts of the face, inducing more blackheads! You may also find yourself with a permanent blemish or scar. Here, some simple strategies for removing blackheads safely.

Try a low-potency acne medication, such as benzoyl peroxide or other exfoliating product for removing dead skin cells, as these can be very effective on blackheads.

Microdermabrasion can remove stubborn blackheads. Ask your aesthetician for assistance.

Topical retinoids such as Retin-A can be effective in removing blackheads safely. These products also prevent the development of new blackheads, as they reduce oil secretion and unclog pores. But this is not a quick fix, and topical retinoids need to be applied for weeks before showing any results.

Chemical peels with glycolic acid are very successful in removing dead skin cells from pores and removing blackheads safely. Do not have a chemical peel done, however, if you are being treated with a topical retinoid.

Blackhead strips, like tape for your face, are especially good at removing blackheads from the nose. Quick, painless, and easy, these strips are an excellent, temporary way to safely remove blackheads.

We don’t recommend popping blackheads (or any other types of acne!), but if you must:
First, soften the area around the blackhead. You can do this easily by applying clean, warm compresses to the spot or by steaming your face. Heat and steam soften the comedones so that your skin becomes more receptive to popping. The best way to steam your face is to fill your sink with hot water, lean over it, and breathe in the steam. Another way to steam your pores is to run a very hot shower and put your face near—not inthe steamy water. You could also purchase a facial steamer. Sit in front of it with a towel over your head and face for no more than five minutes.

Use a metal pimple extractor with a small, round opening or loop on one end. Sterilize the extractor first by immersing in boiling water for five minutes. Dry and let cool. Encircle the blackhead and take your time. Use the looped side, apply pressure on the blackhead, and let the infected material come out. This should be done slowly and carefully. Do not apply pressure to the blackhead, as this may lead to infection and scarring.

When you are finished and the blackhead is gone, apply some disinfectant or antiseptic cream to the area.
Stubborn blackheads can be removed safely and painlessly with these easy methods.

Some very useful tips, Stalina. But yes I do agree with the steaming/warm towel method. It is the method I used and it really worked.

    Thankyou for your advice.

The best way to prevent blackheads on chin or other parts of body is to wash the face frequently. Since oily skin is the primary cause of blackheads, it is must to wash the face regularly. You must wash the face using a mild cleanser. Steam is also a best remedy to remove blackheads.
