Default My doctor said I have UTI

I wanna know what's the cause of having UTI, I wanna get rid of it but still don't understand why I have it. Perhaps some of you would like to share some thoughts about UTI and how to prevent it.

well i am an expert on uti's because i used to get them every 2 months for most of my married life. i am now on medication to prevent them. when you are pregnant your homones go crazy. i hope the doctor put you on an antibiotic. uti's is caused by bacteria entering the urethra. woman can them more than men. i have had chronic bladder infections since i was 7. cranberry juice helps make your kidneys and bladder more acid so bacteria doesn't grow. it is also very healthy for you. most women when they are pregnant get utis. don't worry. just keep the doctor informed if you don't feel better so maybe he can switch your antibiotics. antibiotics will not harm the baby and will prevent the bacteria from backing up into your kidneys.
