Default I don't know whats going on with my skin

I'am having the strangest thing going on with me. Several months ago the tops of my feet would turn red and start itching. It would last about 5 minutes and go away. Now different parts of my body does the same thing. A red place will come up on my skin no bumps it feels smooth and I will refrain from scratching and it will go away in about 5 minutes. It may happen on my leg, arm, stomach. Does this sound like some kind of allergy?Any help will be appreciated. Marg

Could be atopic dermatitis or urticaria, as you said there are no bumps so its even harder to diagnose without actually looking at the rash. It may sometime be the skin manifestation of systemic disease, so i would suggest you to visit a doctor and do a routine blood checking.you may also need to do a allergy patch testing. For immediate control you may use calamine lotion to the affected skin or take anti-histamines.
