    Default Rosemary and Lemon Juice Homemade Toner

    lemon-rosemary-shineWash the lemon and slice it into 4 parts including the lemon skin.
    Wash rosemary leaves.
    Mix 1/2 cup liquor, 1/2 cup Sprite and 1 tsp of honey in a glass bowl.
    Add the lemon pieces and rosemary leaves.
    Leave for 3-7 days at room temperature.
    After 3-7 days, open the lid and check whether the alcohol odor has weakened. By using a strainer or coffee filter, pour out the contents into a container.
    Keep in refrigerator and use as a toner in your skin care routine.

    interesting recipe. you may want to mention that Rosemary although great for the skin it is highly stimulating and should be avoided by people with epilepsy, people with high blood pressure and those that are pregnant.

    what do you say about ppl with dry skin. I heard they should not try lemon. Oh btw Anyone applying lemon on their skin should use sunblock lotions and avoid sun to avoid getting tan.

    Toning the skin can help tighten the pores and can remove any dirt, oil or impurities that are left behind after washing. While there are many skin toners on the market, many of these contain skin-irritating chemicals that can inflame the skin. Luckily, you can tone the skin effectively by using a few different homemade toners.
    It is effective toner is the rosemary water.
    • 2 tablespoons of rosemary
    • Peel of 1/4 orange
    • 1/2 lemon
    • 4 sprigs of mint
    • 1/4 cup of alcohol
    • 1/4 cup water

    Keep it in a bottle and keep it for 48 to 72. Then shake it keep it aside for further use. You can find result by using this toner after few days.

    Cleanse and exfoliate in one step by mixing 1 tsp. baking soda with 1 tsp. plain yogurt. Apply mixture and leave on for 2 minutes, then gently massage into skin. Rinse well with warm water.
