    Default Keratosis pilaris and eczema

Hi i'm new to the forum. I have keratosis pilaris on my arm since my childhood. It didn't bother me that much but these last 1 year i developed eczema. I read many blogs which say Eczema and keratosis pilaris are related to each other. Is it true ? I'm now using Elidel but doesn't seems to improve at all. Please suggest me something.

Treatment of KP is focus on softening the keratin deposits in the skin and medications like retinoids and corticosteriods. But after you stop using,it again comes back. I have heard that applying Extra Virgin Coconut Oil might help for both of your KP and Eczema. Consult your dermatologist for further prescription.
