    Default Smokey Eyes

I have tried many times, read magazines and watched videos on how to apply the dark smokey eye look, and i can never get it right.

Does anyone out there have any great tips that you can please share?

If you have Sephora anywhere near you, go and splurge on Too Faced's (that sounds wrong) smokey eye pallet. It gives you three types of smokey eyes that you can do. A day-appropriate one as well. THere are cards in which will tell you where to put the shadow in

PS: If you're working with dark colors, you might wanna soften the hold on your brush and do soft strokes rather than packing the color on your lids. Building up the color is so much easier than packing it on and blending it out to make it less... mortisha adams.

ps: USE A BASE SO THE COLOR LAST AND DOESN'T CREASE!
mac paintpots will do but i prefer too faced shadow insurance. also urban decay's primer potion.
