I've seen it advertised, do you know of anyone who has actually used the product ??
I don't know if you have seen all the hype about the acai berry or not but it is supposed to have some of the best anti-oxidant properties of any berry that can be eaten. It is said to have approximately 10 times the amount of anti-oxidants that grapes or other common fruits have. It also has anti-aging properties and people who have used the product have stated they have seen their skin look more supple and younger looking in less than 30 days!
I have not tried this personaly but would like to hear from anyone who has and hear their results.

I know people that have used Mona Vie and swear by it. The acai berry is a major ingredient in Mona Vie. I was going to get it and use it but the shipping was prohibitive for me here. I really want to get a capsule or pill form but I need to find one that has been freeze dried. I am a bit leery of some of the preparations out there. If it is not freeze dried when it is made into the formulation, it ruins the quality of it according to the experts.
Acai pulp is rich in oleic acid, palmitif acid and linoleic acid, as well as Vitamins B, C and E. This berry has high levels of antioxidants and anti-inflammatory properties and has been used topically for its astringent and antibacterial properties.
Skin Script makes an Acai Berry Moisturizer, with added Aloe and Co-Q10. Haven't tried it myself, but it gets great reviews.
Thanks for the link to those products David. I will have to check them out and see what they have to offer. They sound interesting.
Acai berry is sort of a scam. you can get antioxidants from many foods you consume. Including, berries, nuts, broccoli, and tomatoes. Don't waste your money.
I didn't mean to knock the acai berry, it's just that I find it pretty easy to get antioxidants on a daily basis without spending the extra money. Sorry if I offended anyone who reps acai.
In an interesting twist, I did read that an eye serum that is doing quite well has acai berry as an ingredient. I guess if it has antioxidant properties it must do well around the eye area.
Is this the same berry that is supposed to be good for weight loss also? What an all round funky fruit lol
