Female legs flackyness,itchiness,redness (Explicit Pictures)
Hi there, I decided to post a thread for my wife that has that leg condition. She currently uses Johnson's moisturizing baby lotion.
She complaint a lot of itchiness. Any thoughts ideas & solutions on that?
General health is good. Not taking any medication. No coffee, cigarettes or anything special.
Much appreciated.

she needs a better moisturizer. i can't tell from the pictures if her legs are just dry and scaley or if she has something else going on there. aveeno makes a lotion that moisturizes and is anti itch. after she bathes, before she is completely dry, she should put this or some other more nurturing moisturizer on her skin. i have used palmers cocoa butter cream, gold bond ultra lotions.(these are very healing) they come in soothing, healing, restorative. there are so many products on the market but she needs one that is extra soothing and good for the skin. one that doesn't have a heavy fragrance. the cocoa butter one smells like chocolate but that is basically what it is. my legs used to get dry like this in the winter. i would scratch them until they would bleed. NOT a good idea. best of luck.

Derma E, Psorzema Creme, 4 oz (113 g) (DME-08700)
Grahams Natural Alternatives, Psoriasis & Dermatitis Cream, Fragrance Free, 2 oz (57 g) (GNA-00204)
Shikai, Borage Dry Skin Therapy, Facial 24 Hour Repair Cream, 2 fl oz (60 ml) (SHI-40280)

Any thoughts? Were these products listed useful for you?
The site is called iherb.com.
Thanks.

You did some research. that is good. shea buter is good, i already mentioned cocoa butter, jojoba oil is good but do a patch test because sometimes it can cause clogged pores or be irritating. the psoriasis cream probably has pine tar in it. pine tar can be stinky. it can soothe but i didn't have much luck with it for my psoriasis. iherb is a good site. you did a good job researching.

I use unrefined shea butter as a body moisturiser. One thing I find works are the moisturising gloves and socks so a leg version would work too. Once a week, after washing legs apply a thicker than normal amount of shea butter, or chosen moisturiser to the legs and feet and without rubbing it in, put on some cotton leggings and socks and wear these for a few hours or overnight. The difference over a short time is amazing.
Be weary of buying commercial products with the ingredient you want to use. Some have other things in which are not so good. Best if you buy the raw products and mix your own moisturiser. Much easier than you think.

Hi,
Try taking 6000mg flax seed oil capsules daily to moisturise from within. Also, use extra virgin coconut oil as a moisturiser and also to take orally. It must be extra virgin; not the normal supermarket shelf product. A good vitamin B complex supplement, zinc and beta carotene is also useful to strengthen skin.
Let me know if this helps?
