I hear many people say acne is cause by Sex and Masturbation..is it true that Sex and Masturbation cause acne. Who can make me clear on this topics, i'm confused some say yes and some no.

Though Acne and sex are not directly related as most of the people would think but yea there is relationship between acne and sex. But Masturbation and sexual intercourse doesn’t cause acne.

Confused..???? Well let me explain..
Sexual activity is related with the increase of androgen, especially Testosterone. Though sex and masturbation doesn't cause acne but increase in level of androgen might be the one factor for acne cause. Androgen are somewhat responsible for increase in production of sebum by sebaceous gland in our skin.

And this sebum in presence of bacteria P.acne might causes acne breakouts. Here sebum brings the cells to the surface of skin and they are sloughed off. In presence of excess oil the openings of oil glands is clogged and therefore resulting in comedo and acne.

Any kind of physical activity causes you to sweat which allows those oils to build and cause a skin problem. I don't think sex it your problem though

There is absolutely no truth to this idea whatsoever. Masturbation does not cause acne. Neither does having sex.

No matter what, try not to feel embarrassed about your skin. You didn't do anything to cause your acne.
