yes it really disturbing to have rosacea to face.According to my observation laser treatment works best for rosacea.A visible result can be seen after 4 to 5 times of treatment according to severity.

i am late in thanking you for your comment. does lazer just get rid of the rosacea that is present or does it actually make the rosacea go away? doctors uses lasers for so many things. i didn't know it could be used with rosacea. thanks.

There is no cure for rosacea. These light therapy and lasers will selectively destroy the visible blood vessels (telangiectasia) while sparing the surrounding skin unharmed. The procedure so called selective photothermolysis. This procedure will sure minimize or completely treat the sign and symptoms of rosacea but will not cure. Maintenance therapy with topical agents is required for long term result. Several factors like skin type, lifestyle factors, and amount of sun exposure after laser therapy will affect the long-term result and can cause fare-ups of rosacea again. One should permanently avoid the triggering factors.

      Default My Suggestion

I'm also hesitant to use a steroid cream because it can be very damaging to the skin and body. But if it works I just might take the leap and try it.
If you have a mild rosacea, some dermatologist recommend steroid topical cream. Topical steroids are seldom used to treat symptoms of eczema-psoriasis. So, I think it is always better to ask your dermatologist before trying anything.

Rosacea is a chronic skin condition that causes redness and swelling on your face. It also causes pus-filled bumps or pustules on your cheeks, chin, nose and forehead. Rosacea is also popularly known as ‘adult acne,’ as it leads to swelling and skin sores that look like acne.
