Default How do I get rid of back acne scars?

Here are the top 10 ways to get rid of acne scars.

    1. Aloe Vera

Aloe vera is a natural scar-removal ingredient, due to its anti-inflammatory and antibacterial properties.

Also, being a natural emollient, it helps repair damaged skin and promote growth of healthy skin. It also improves the elasticity of the new tissue being formed.

Cut open an aloe vera leaf and scoop out the gel. Apply the gel on your scars and massage it in circular motions. Allow it to sit for 30 minutes, then rinse it off. Do this 2 or 3 times daily.

Alternatively, mix 1 tablespoon of freshly extracted aloe vera gel and 2 or 3 drops of tea tree essential oil. Apply it on the affected areas. Rinse it off with cold water after 10 to 15 minutes. Use it once daily.

Note: Aloe vera may not work that effectively on older scars.

    2. Lemon

Lemon works as a natural bleach and helps lighten any kind of scars on your skin. It also removes dead skin cells, promotes the growth of new skin cells and improves skin elasticity.

Also, the vitamin C in lemon helps in rebuilding collagen.

You can choose from the following remedies, according to your preference.

Apply a little fresh lemon juice directly on your scars using your fingertips or a cotton ball. Allow it to sit for 10 minutes, then wash it off with water. Do this 1 or 2 times a day.
Mix equal amounts of lemon juice and honey. Use a cotton ball to apply the mixture on the affected area. Allow it to sit for about 10 to 15 minutes. Wash it off with water and pat dry. Do this once every day.
Mix 1 teaspoon of lemon juice with 1 teaspoon of vitamin E oil. Apply it to your acne scars before going to bed and wash it off the next morning. Do this once daily.
Caution: Do not go out in the sun after applying lemon juice on your skin.

    3. Apple Cider Vinegar

The acidic property of apple cider vinegar helps lighten pigmentation in the skin, thus reducing the appearance of acne scars. It also stimulates collagen production, repairs cells and removes dead skin cells.

Plus, it evens the skin tone and may prevent future scarring.

Mix equal amounts of raw, unfiltered apple cider vinegar and water. Dip a cotton ball in it and apply it on the scars. Leave it on for 5 minutes, then rinse it off with water. Do this once daily.
Alternatively, mix 2 tablespoons of raw, unfiltered apple cider vinegar with ½ cup of water and 2 tablespoons of honey. Use a cotton ball to apply it on the acne scars. Leave it on for 10 to 15 minutes, then rinse it off with plain water. Use this remedy once daily.

Whats Is Acne Treatment | symptoms And causes

    Acne symptoms And causes
Acne is a skin condition that occurs when your hair follicles become plugged with oil and dead skin cells. It often causes whiteheads, blackheads or pimples, and usually appears on the face, forehead, chest, upper back and shoulders. Acne is most common among teenagers, though it affects people of all ages.

Effective treatments are available, but acne can be persistent. The pimples and bumps heal slowly, and when one begins to go away, others seem to crop up.

Depending on its severity, acne can cause emotional distress and scar the skin. The earlier you start treatment, the lower your risk of such problems.

    Symptoms
Acne signs and symptoms vary depending on the severity of your condition:

    Whiteheads (closed plugged pores)
    Blackheads (open plugged pores)
    Small red, tender bumps (papules)
Pimples (pustules), which are papules with pus at their tips
Large, solid, painful lumps beneath the surface of the skin (nodules)
Painful, pus-filled lumps beneath the surface of the skin (cystic lesions)
    Causes
    Four main factors cause acne:

    Excess oil production
Hair follicles clogged by oil and dead skin cells
    Bacteria
Excess activity of a type of hormone (androgens)
Acne typically appears on your face, forehead, chest, upper back and shoulders because these areas of skin have the most oil (sebaceous) glands. Hair follicles are connected to oil glands.
The follicle wall may bulge and produce a whitehead. Or the plug may be open to the surface and darken, causing a blackhead. A blackhead may look like dirt stuck in pores. But actually the pore is congested with bacteria and oil, which turns brown when it’s exposed to the air.

Pimples are raised red spots with a white center that develop when blocked hair follicles become inflamed or infected with bacteria. Blockages and inflammation that develop deep inside hair follicles produce cystlike lumps beneath the surface of your skin. Other pores in your skin, which are the openings of the sweat glands, aren’t usually involved in acne.

    Risk factors

    Risk factors for acne include:
Age. People of all ages can get acne, but it’s most common in teenagers.

Hormonal changes. Such changes are common in teenagers, women and girls, and people using certain medications, including those containing corticosteroids, androgens or lithium.

Family history. Genetics plays a role in acne. If both parents had acne, you’re likely to develop it, too.

Greasy or oily substances. You may develop acne where your skin comes into contact with oily lotions and creams or with grease in a work area, such as a kitchen with fry vats.

Friction or pressure on your skin. This can be caused by items such as telephones, cellphones, helmets, tight collars and backpacks.
