Hello everyone,

Has anyone heard of the skin disorder "Poikiloderma of Cirvatte?"

It was discovered by a Dr. Cirvatte, back in the 1900's... it comes from over-exposure to sun, with long-term skin damage... mostly in older females, and manifests later in life, on the back and front of the neck and chest and it varies with symptoms and patient; it is itchy, red, sometimes brown in color, and uncomfortable... it is benign and there is no cure, although some choose to have laser treatments, which is expensive and has drawbacks... it's best treated as an abatement only, the "cure" using certain topical coolants, along with staying out of the sun, using sunscreens, diet and nutrition.

Anyone ever hear of this ???

Thank you... Have a nice evening.

Sage
