Default What's the most natural looking blusher tone?

I tend to go for the more brownish tones than pink but my friend told me that's not good because no one blushes brown! Hmmm, good point but really isn't the more brownish tone better? For my coloring anyway?

I don't know your coloring since I haven't seen you in person. You look a bit pale though on the pic so I'd say pink would suit you more. Revlon makes a really nice shade of pink called softspoken pink. I've been using it for years now it's really the best shade! You can dab a little to give your cheeks some color, or you can layer on a bit more for a more dramatic effect. It even comes in the mineral makeup version now.

Thanks, mimico! Yes, I'm pale skinned, dark gray blue eyes and my hair's a reddish brown (depending on which box I pick up at the store, ha!). I always thought the pinks were more suited to blondes than myself and kind of steered clear of them mostly.

I will look for that one though and see what it's like, thanks for that. I don't use much to be honest but it's always so hard to tell from looking at the solid blusher how it'll be on your face.

A make up artist once told me that if you have pale skin and use pink / red colours you look paler. He said if you have a dark skin tone the reds and pinks give you more colour. Not sure how true this is!
