Fed up with skin issues.

Hi guys,

After some advice before approaching doctors etc.

I have had basic skin issues my entire life mainly in the form of eczema. It used to only affect me when I was hot and would only become and issue behind my knees and inner elbows. This issue has also been treated with a steroid based cortisone cream (Betnovate). In the past 4 weeks I have started to have further skin rashes & dry skin. I am uncertain if its an allergy or something else. I am booked in to see an allergy specialist in the near future after going through a flare up that affected my eyes recently. I tested very high allergy to pollens and high to both dustmite and alternaria alternata.

Since this flare up I also have been getting skin rashes and dry skin that affect mainly my upper body although do have a few spots on my legs. The flare up seems to be more common after a warm shower or in a warm bed etc. I sometimes wake in the middle of the night and my arms a excruciatingly itchy. Sometimes there is no rash just dry skin that is itchy. I also now have dry skin on my forehead that can be itchy and a very faint rash on my chest.

I haven't changed diet or anything that would cause these problems

Can anyone relate to these type of issues as it is frustrating more than anything ?
