Default How to change my mind from thinking only about internet?

I spend around 16-18 hours on internet and all time sitting in front of computer, my entire day goes like this. Whatever work I am doing offline my mind keeps thinking about internet, websites, clients, designs....etc,

Even when I go to sleep I can't close my eyes,

Is there anything that doctors advice to do in such situation?

I would suggest taking a rest, and making sure you get at least 7.5 hours of sleep a night. That is what most people need. I would also suggest finding a hobby that has absolutely nothing to do with computers. Exercise can help a lot also.

    welcome to the Internet LOL.

On a serious note, I had a similar situation myself into three months ago.

I was spending all of my free time online and ignoring my friend, family and associates, just spend more time online.

Not surprising I found myself very miserable.

So I decided to take a week off and under no condition get on my computer.

The first three days were hell, but after that I started getting into it and I haven't looked back since.

So if you're asking how you can break this addiction I would say you have to do with cold turkey.

Be strong, I know can do it

Yikes! You're worse than me. I only spend 10 hours a day on the computer but my family complains that it's too much already. The only time I'm not online is when I'm sleeping, eating, bathing, and working out at the gym. When I go to the mall to shop or when I have dinner with friends then I won't be online as well. So maybe you can increase your social activity. Although the repercussion of that is an increase in your expenses as well...
