The 3 Day Diet is simply a low calorie diet (as can be seen by the meal plan). There is nothing magical no mystical chemical reaction that goes on (as some seem to think). Weight loss is due to a sudden drop in calories some of this may be fat but most will be from water loss.

The advantage with some diets is the reduction in calories which promote what seems like fast weight loss but as already stated a lot of this in the early days will be from excess water.
The disadvantage of any diet is as soon as you re-introduce the foods omitted you tend to put on weight at a faster rate.
Make sure the diet you are on contains food from all categories. There is a reason you need these. If you want to lose weight then make sure bread, rice, etc is wholemeal (you need this for fibre) and your sugar (you need natural sugar found in fruits for energy) intake is kept to a minimum requirement. Trimming fat off meat and using healthy oil, if needed, also makes a huge difference. Oh and exercise. Even if its only walking. Diet and exercise always work well together.
This 'Eat Well Plate' should show you what you diet should consist of. eatwellplatelarge.jpg

You need to measure how much callories u r taking in a day and how much u burn.if you are eating too much callories than it's not possible to lose weight.do a regular exercise to burn unwanted callories.avoid food with too much callories and carbohydrates.
