that is supposed to be a good non drowsy anihistimine. my doctor gave me some samples. i have year round allergies so i am used to taking medications. i am glad you found out what it was. i am also glad it wasn't anything more serious. i know it can be annoying but this is better than having some kind of disease.

yup XYZAL is a good third generation non-sedative antihistamine. Like we said before, sometimes it might be very bothersome as treatment might not be as good as expected in some individuals, so..take it as directed by ur dermatologist and try to avoid the triggering factors so it won't return back. Do let us know if you have any questions.

wow 3 tablets a day... did ur dermatologist prescribed that dose.. ? i guess 5mg tab. once a day (evening) or max twice was sufficient..anyway if ur dermatologist have prescribed then i can't force u to change the dose. its better to consult ur dermatologist for adjusting the dose. Usually what i would have given is two antihistamines drugs per day for a week ( as suggested earlier) then tapering to one drugs ie 5mg XYZAL per night for a week or two then taper to 2.5 mg ( half tablet) per night for a week then 2.5 mg on alternate night and so so so..
