I agree that coconut oil is great for the hair. You can also do alternately with extra virgin olive oil.

In a world flooded with shampoos for every hair condition, it’s not hard to believe that you might be confused in choosing a right shampoo for your hair. I’ll ask you a very simple question. What shampoo is in your shower at home and how did you choose your brand of choice? Many women base their buying decision on the brightly colored bottle and delicious scent of a shampoo. And then, when they found strings of hair clogged at the drainage outlet in their bathroom, they blame it on their shampoo. When they found tons of hair stuck to their comb after a clean wash, they still blame it on their shampoo.

Well…You can partly blame it on you shampoo, however, it was you made the choice …remember?

There are many different varieties of shampoos available at different places. Rather than falling into the web of strategic corporate advertising with the shampoos alluring packaging and attractive promises, we should make an informed decision based upon the actual content of the shampoo in the bottle.

A good shampoo can help reduce symptoms or the effects of balding by utilizing certain active ingredients to counter the effects of hair loss. These ingredients can range from herbs like Saw Palmetto which is said to be effective for fighting Male Pattern Baldness to pro-hair vitamins like Biotin which is essential for hair growth. While these hair loss shampoo ingredients might look enticing and promising in your battle against hair loss, you should take note that shampoo is not the primary treatment for hair loss.

Sage has been believed for centuries to help prevent hair loss. Like licorice, sage extract can be added to your favorite shampoo. Or you can use double-strength sage tea daily as a hair rinse to encourage hair growth.

Default Five Steps to Repairing Crown Area Hair Loss

Here is interesting thing you are going to read, though it sounds simple tips, but having the persistence will pay off in the end. There are lots of people who are complaining about their receding hair line or simple wearing away crown region of the scalp.
Is this something you're dealing with right now?
If this is the situation you are into right now. Good for you that you are in for big change ahead because there is cure for your problem.
Fortunately you're in for a big change ahead because I have the cure for your problem.

Well I probably shouldn't call it a "cure", but you can bet your bottom dollar these tips are absolutely fantastic.

Earlier this year we did a little survey asking how ordinary men would like to change in their scalp region 70% of them said they would like to re grow their hair.
Shocked me to pieces when about 70% all said re grow hair in their crown area.

    So . . .

We decided to dive a little deeper and tackle the issue on the bottom level.
Step 1: Let's do some investigating. Time to be our own hair loss detectives and see if we can't crack the case. Determining the exact reason why hair is falling out in this area is a MUST.

    Ask yourself . . .

Have you experienced any physical trauma to your crown? Have you been combing or brushing your crown area too rough? Wrapping it? Is it getting too much exposure to heat? Is it moisturized?

Yes I know I sound like a nosey bum, but there are some things you just can't leave out. It's actually the determining factor that will turn things around for you.

Step 2: Time to diagnose. Protein and vitamin deficiency could also lead to baldness or weaker hair and scrappy scalp. Conditioning the crown is is important, keep it moisturized regularly to prevent excess drying of your scalp which is the main cause for breakage.

Step 3: Though you must have read and heard about it millions of time from the people as well as experts recommending you to stimulate the follicles with massage. Spare at least 10 minutes time massaging the crown areas
Apply essential oils, there are lot of oils such as olive oil, rosemary, and castor oil that could be applied on the scalp. Almond oil and jojoba are also considered good for the hair re growth, you can even use them with other oils for even better effects.
WORD OF CAUTION: Mixing essential oils while beneficial can irritate your scalp. Play it safe.

Step 4: Blowing drying your hair is one big problem for the crown region. Though most of us find blow drying a quick route to dry head, but this could also be quick fire to bald head. Make sure the crown is not subjected to excessive heat

Step 5: Keep your head covered while sleeping to seal your hairs natural moisture. Most of us have pillows made up of cotton that absorbs scalps natural moisture. So get rid of it as it definitely strips hair out fast.

There are plenty of at home herbal remedies for hair loss, all of which are very affordable or only slightly expensive. You can use these herbs at home in a number of ways to treat hair loss and prevent more hair loss from occurring. No products are necessary, just the raw or capsulated herb to get the job done! There are countless herbs to use for hair loss prevention, but this list contains just a few of the most active herbs that can help and treat hair loss.

Rosemary and Sage combined together make a beautiful concoction to rub into your roots each day. It is not only good for helping hair loss, but it also makes the scalp healthy. It has been used in the Mediterranean for centuries as a treatment for hair loss. You can even mix rosemary and sage into a shampoo by mixing with a plain castile soap. The ratio should be small however; too much castile soap in your hair can cause dryness.

There are so many hair loss products being widely serviced and available in numerous hair care clinics, pharmacies, and even in supermarkets. More and more people are getting afflicted by a certain type of alopecia or hair loss called androgenic alopecia or commonly called male and female pattern baldness. Dermatologists would normally advise these hair loss sufferers to use a product containing DHT blockers or inhibitors as androgenic alopecia is basically caused by genetics, which makes the hormone dihydrotestosterone (DHT) blameful for such type of loss.

One notable hair loss treatment that has been making waves these days is Leimo. Many people would ask, "Does Leimo actually work?" and "Is it really that efficient?" There might be several people who can attest to the claim that Leimo works really well. Say for example, on some hair loss forums, majority of the members there wrote that the product is indeed effective and that it has been giving them good positive results within just months of usage. Leimo boosts with natural and organic ingredients like the saw palmetto extracts and it also has other ingredients that produce synergistic effects to promote optimal hair regrowth and most importantly to stop further hair loss.

On Leimo's website, they offer the two topical solutions which are the Leimo Scalp Therapy and the Scalp Serum that also comes with the rest of the wet products—Bio-Cleansing Shampoo, Thickening Conditioner, and the Scalp and Body Scrub.

The therapy and serum are infused with the natural blend of saw palmetto extracts which is said to be accurate in inhibiting DHT formation in the scalp. So, do the two solutions work or does Leimo actually work in general? Saw palmetto extracts, according to clinical studies, have the strong ability to inhibit or block the androgen receptors which are found on the hair follicles and thus capable of restraining DHT buildup too. Saw palmetto extracts can also block both type I and II alpha reductase enzymes and has shown to be more potent than finasteride (Propecia).
