It is not that every one needs moisturizer, since moisturizers to be truly effective are not about providing skin moisture but helping the skin to retain its already available moisture level. Too much of moisture on the other hand may cause even problems for the skin.

I agree with you, but I think its good to use moisturizer if you really need it and too much of anything is really not good. So therefore too much moisturizer is really not good and I suggest you to consult an expert to help you from choosing the right product to be used for your skin.
