My teenage son had a nasty bite from a brown recluse spider last Fall. It's all cleared up now but if anyone knows about these spiders, they'll know the poison keeps eating into the wound, leaving a deep scar. When it was swollen at its worst, the wound was about 7mm deep. Now he's left with a dark purple scar on his arm about the size of a nickel that he's very self conscious of.
Will that ever go away or is there anything I can do to make it look better faster? He's very pale skinned like me so it stands out a mile. There's no way he'll camouflage it with makeup.
