Help, what is this red around mouth?"

Hello.
I've had this problem for at least a year or so, but now I have a date coming up so now it's actually important.
It's this red area that can sort of change size but always in the same area almost entirely around the mouth but mostly the sides.
It must itch because I find myself scratching it sometimes.
It can get flaky too.

Still there. Spread out. Cracks form along skin surface and open-up.
