Does acne antibiotics cause chronic colitis

i have heard some oral antibiotics treatment for acne causes acne. Is it true ? if yea can you please tell me which causes chronic colitis ?

i heard that Clindamycin sometimes causes chronic colitis but don't know about other antibiotics. But yea they do have gastrointestinal side effects.

yea Clindamycin might cause pseudomembraneous colitis but it is generally not used as oral ,mostly used in as topical antibiotics unless needed as oral..

I have never taken anything orally to cure my acne problems. I've used clindamycin lotion and astringent on my face. I found both to be very strong, although they did work. I guess you only use those if you have severe acne problems. Otherwise, stick with products that are gentle on the skin. :)
