Metathione is supposed to help cleanse the liver, but many people use it as a whitening agent nowadays especially in my country. Have any one of you tired this? It comes in a pill form or a soap bar. Does it work? What are the reported side effects?

I'm really curious because everyone's talking about it although I don't understand why Filipinos can't be happy with their tan color!
