My knuckles are slowly turning dark in colour. Although, I religiously apply moisturiser and sometimes, coconut oil on my knuckles before retiring for the day, this has had no effect on the colour of my knuckles.
For dark knuckles, you can take curd and add a little quantity of turmeric powder to it. Apply this mixture on your knuckles for 5-7 minutes. Then gently rub it for 2-3 minutes and wash it. Do it regularly and see the difference. Continue applying moisturiser in good quantity.

It could be due to various reasons. Sometimes, it is just a genetic skin fault we inherit or could be a skin reaction to something used. You can rub a mixture of cucumber juice and lemon juice in equal proportion into area before shower. But a medicated cream from a qualified doctor might get better and quicker result.
