Today at work i was itching what i thought was a mosquito bite around my ankle and when i looked down i noticed it was a circular red patch. I figured it was irritation from scratching but it still remains almost 12 hours later. It started to intensly itch again and then what i thought was ANOTHER bug bite started to itch right next to it and that soon raised into a perfectly round ring like someone surgically inserted a small keychain or something under my skin. Anti-itch spray did nothing. I did end up putting some of my.. and i'm ashamed to admit this.. cats anti-fungal on the two spots and they calmed down. From what i've seen (albeit on google) i don't believe i have ringworm and if i did, wouldn't have a clue how i got it since i don't share clothing or bathing products and i certainly don't rub my feet on anyone else's..
I just went to the dermatologist Tuesday (10/2/12) for what turned out to be very mild eczema and i don't want to blow another $50 to see him again. Why couldn't this have happened two days ago!?
PLEASE SEE PICTURES! I know, i have ugly feet.. and they look shiny from the anti-fungal cream.

Few questions:
when was this pic taken? How many hours after lesion eruption?
do u have any pain or burning sensation?
have you taken any medications recently (before the appearance of rash)
do u have àny other symptoms like fever or any other...
what do u do during work?
Do u have any allergy history?
this is not fungal infection or eczema.. Most probably hypersensitivity reaction to something ( which may subside by the time you post ur reply again). Please answer my questions for detail suggestion and please do update on ur condition...

Ring worm? Google the symptoms, it looks a lot like it...you can treat it with over the counter creams if this is the case. Sorry this happened.

The picture was taken not even 10 minutes before i wrote the post and it had only just started up 5 minutes BEFORE i took the picture. I was so freaked out, i wasted no time in finding a skin forum.
It was very itchy, slight burning, and the bigger one hurt a little when i touched it. No new medications and i'm a receptionist. No true allergy history but i do get hives on a weekly basis.. this started 5 years ago when i started on a new medication for my Multiple Sclerosis. They don't bother me so the doctors decided not to stop the medication.
It's the morning now and i'm at work and while my foot is still a little irritated it's nowhere near as bad as last night when i took those pics. I'm trying not to cause too much friction on the site. I wore extremely soft socks and took care while putting my shoes on.
Thanks for responding. :)

If u are taking the medications for almost 5 years than its is not due to MS medications. Just an urticaria that might have been triggered by food or something in contact. Anyway how is it now.. It might have been cleared by now. Sorry to hear about MS. How are you dealing with.Hope everything is going well. Do keep in touch. Have a great day
