Liquid Foundation or Powder Foundation - which one is most preferred?

I was reading an article by a Licensed Esthetician at GreatSkin who suggests that Liquid foundation is best. She says - always choose a liquid foundation with a yellowish tone. The warmer the skin, the younger it looks. I use liquid and from a skin care point of view only use it very very infrequently, make-up is not good for your skin if used all the time.

There are better alternatives to foundation. Although liquid foundation is best for your skin, it still is very heavy in nature and can wear down your skin's natural look and feel over time. BB creams are great because they provide all the necessary nutrients and hydration of a moiturizer but they also provide a great lightweight coverage that has a very natural and minimilist feel.
