How to get normal skin pigmentation back?

Hi all,

I tried to pop a pimple about 2 months ago and in the process I damaged my skin. It bled and then a scab formed and fell off. New skin formed but now I have a pink mark. Its been there for about 1.5 months now. Should I keep applying polysporin to get my normal pigmentation back or what? Thanks.

i would apply sunscreen. i think the skin has healed and what is left is a scar. use a good sunscreen on your whole face. it takes a long time for this type of mark to go away but the sunscreen will protect it and not allow it to darken compared to your facial skin.

I agree, this is more than likely a scar, which with proper care you can fade and it will return to your normal complexion.
