If the tissue becomes stained or soiled with grease, you have normal to oily skin. Use different tissues for different areas, wiping the forehead, nose and chin with one tissue, and using another one to wipe cheeks. This way you can find out if you have a combination skin.

I totally agree. The multiple choice test is fun to go through if you're bored, but it's really very easy to tell whether you have dry, oily, or combination skin. I'd say anyone who knows the difference between oily and dry should be able to tell if their own skin is either oily or dry or neither! I have combination skin so it's more difficult to choose skincare products. I always enjoy sampling new products though so it's okay. :)

My face is so oily! Especially after an hour of applying foundation but after I have washed it with a cleanser it feels tight and kind of dry.

Use a tissue and wipe across your cheek. If you can see tinted oily on the tissue, you have oily skin.

Note that your skin can change from seasons too! My skin is oily in the summer and dry during winter!!
