If a person is looking for any sorts of massage, he or she has to follow the necessary conditions for physical well-being. One of the main steps is to consult with the physician, especially child, pregnancy women and ill persons. This aids to stick away from the unwanted side effects of massage practice. Also massage therapist can take a confidential medical history from you and have to sign necessary formalities. Your medical history can review deeply, and then they decide if massage is safe for you and then develop comprehensive treatment plan.

I have never heard of anyone going to a doctor to find out if they should have a massage. It is totally unnecessary and a waste of time and money never mind the drain on the health care system. If you do your research and find a reputable massage therapist you will be find.

i give massages all the time. i am told i have the touch. i am not a licensed masseus but i give back massages to my team at work. we stand for 8 hours and sometimes there is a lot of stress at the pharmacy so almost every day someone is asking me to massage their back and neck. i even do a massage for headaches. of course this isn't acceptable in big corporations but unless you are going to get a deep muscle massage or a rough bone cracking massage you don't need an okay from a doctor.
