Mix all oils together - coconut oil needs to be at 76º to be a liquid, so you may need to warm it before adding.
Then you just dip your fingers in and apply where needed, these oils are easily absorbed and you shouldn't need very much so this recipe should last quite a while.
Store in a dry place.

You sure could substitute the Emu oil with any other oil. Nice recipe.

Hi there... the only oil that i could recommend for anti aging would be OLIVE OIL...Olive oil and salt mixed is great combination. Just massage all over your face and leave on for 5 mins then rinse off with St. Ives Apricot Scrub...VIOLA! soft, smooth and clean skin...works really well... :h5:

I agree with dale91
Olive oil is great for skin care. It helps

* Promote a smooth, radiant complexion
* Help maintain elasticity of skin
* Heal dry, brittle nails and soften cuticles
* Condition and add shine to hair

You can definitely use olive oil in so many ways...Its the "wonder oil" for me..not just in the kitchen but as a beauty product as well...i use oil in the morning to keep moisture locked on my skin and in the evening, i use it together with my favorite anti aging cream ******** Skin cream...works so so great.. who could say im almost 40? hehhehehehhe... :h6: check out eyecreamreviews.com for great products to choose from :h7:

Would this not be harsh on your face? Salt then Apricot Scrub??
Some people really like the OO but I've not personally tried it.
I understand maybe very finely ground salt for people with oily skin but what is it supposed to do for anti-aging??

I think it would be too harsh. The olive oil mixed with salt is harsh enough on the face but then to rinse it off with an apricot scrub - too much for the face.

Would be fine for the rest of the body but I don't know why one would want to use both. Only one scrub would be needed.

I wouldn't suggest using a sugar or a salt scrub on the face at all. Jojoba beads mixed with oils would great and are not too abrasive on the skins.

Finely ground Oatmeal is very nice on dry skin. I wouldn't use anything harsher or coarser than that in any case. I love honey, oatmeal, cream, anything smooth and soothing. Shouldn't really hurt acne types of skin either. Also, ALWAYS be oh so light with your touch. You do NOT need to press into the skin to exfoliate or even clear pores. Gentle does it better!!

Absolutely, oatmeal is great on the face. I prefer the feel of the jojoba beads but do use oatmeal when I am out of them. We always have oatmeal in our cupboards, or should as it is also a great breakfast too. The kind that takes 25 minutes to cook not the 'pour water on it' and eat it 3 minutes later. Good point on the light touch. Gentle does do it better.

Quick Oats are good for me. NOT instant though. I'm with you there. I'm guessing it would be preservativey tasting anyway. Never keep it in the house.
Now, to keep from licking it off lips and as far as the tongue can reach. :) :)

Some use yoghurt with their oatmeal. I've never tried it but would love to know it's efficacy over cream, if there is a difference.

Dry skin could be discomforting. There are now specific skincare products that are appropriate for specific levels of skin dryness. The best ones are those containing natural ingredients like avocado oil.Avocado oil has effective hydrating properties

If you've got oily skin you could substitute hazelnut oil and grapeseed for the emu, olive and coconut oils. The hazelnut and grapeseed oils are lighter and more easily absorbed. For mature skin you could use rosehip oil, argan oil, macadamia oil or camellia oils as all have great anti-ageing properties in their own right.
