Hey everyone. I'm just gonna cut right to the point. I have some pretty bad bags and dark circles under my eyes. I was wondering if anyone knew any treatments or something that may work to help reduce that? I am a vegan and I don't use chemicals on my body. Does anyone have any all natural remedies or treatments? Anything'll help. Thanks Alot!!!

Some of the listed threads contain real insight to the problem of dark circles and few remedies to it.
One other thing that I would like to add to it is walking on grass whenever possible, specially in morning.

We all know that green color is the best color of eyes. Green color sooth the eyes and relaxes the muscles around the eye lenses.
It is said in some books (related to Ayurveda and home remedies )that when their is dew on the plants and we get close to them...they provide relaxing effects.
Other then this my uncle, an eye specialist, always suggest to walk on the grass bare footed to most of his patients.

Apparently there are like 7 different reasons why a person can have dark under eye circles. You really have to figure out what's causing it before you can treat it. Dr. Schultz has a video about it that might explain more...

Hope that helps!

Heredity

In most cases the dark circles under the eyes are blood vessels that can be seen through the skin. The skin around the eyelids (periorbital skin) is the thinnest skin in the body (around 0.5 mm thick compared with 2 mm in other areas). Like varicose veins, dark circles under the eyes are usually an inherited trait[citation needed]. When blood passes through the large veins close to the surface of the skin it can produce a bluish tint. The more transparent the skin—also an inherited trait—the darker the circles appear. In people with a deep-set bone structure, shadowing contributes to the dark color under the eyes.

Allergies, asthma, and eczema

Any condition that causes the eyes to itch can contribute to darker circles due to rubbing or scratching the skin around them. Hay fever sufferers particularly will notice under-eye "smudges" during the height of the allergy season. Some food allergies can also cause the area under the eyes to appear darker.

Medications

Any medications that cause blood vessels to dilate can cause circles under the eyes to darken. Because the skin under the eyes is very delicate, any increased blood flow shows through the skin.

Anemia

The lack of nutrients in the diet, or the lack of a balanced diet, can contribute to the discoloration of the area under the eyes. It is believed that lack of mineral iron can cause dark circles as well. Iron deficiency is the most common type of anemia and this condition is a sign that not enough oxygen is getting to the body tissues.

The skin can also become more pale during pregnancy and menstruation (due to lack of iron), which again allow the underlying veins under the eyes to become more visible.

I would suggest you to use thin sliced potato strips for it is good to cure bags under your eyes. Have plenty of sleep to relax your eyes. Or you can also use cucumber slices for it reduce puffiness and refresh the appearance of skin around the eyes. So you may try all of these to know what works best for you.

The clinique eye roller ball works good. So does the Garnier eye roller. If you keep it in the fridge so it is really cool when you roll in it also helps bags under the eyes.

I'm really amazed by the olive oil technique dale mentioned! I will be sure to try that. Also I notice when I don't get enough sleep my dark circles get worse but I guess that is kind of obvious. I listen to talk radio sometimes and they have the worst commercials! There is one for a product hyroleyes, it sounds like a complete scam, has anyone heard of it before? The commercial says it makes dark circles disappear but it's one of those free trial offers that lock you in to monthly credit card charges. Definitely not fun!

How to Get Rid of Rodents and Bugs in One Easy Move

There are many creatures who love to live next to humans because of all the waste that we produce. Even the act of our daily living produces debris which we are often not aware of and it is this that can draw in all manner of creatures to live off us. Rodents are particularly dangerous animals for us to live with since their urine and other bodily waste carries all manner of diseases which are deadly to man. For anyone who has these in the homes, they should contact exterminating companies or mouse and mice control companies to help them get rid of the pests once and for all.

Of course, it is impossible to rid the world of these creatures. No matter how much we try, they will always be there since there are more of them than us. However, we can do something to hold back the numbers if we take some time to do it.

In the home, leaving food and water out overnight will bring a host of pests in. Easy food and water is what most pests are looking for. Since we cannot clean up every single crumb, it is obvious that some animal will come and feed. Leaving poisoned bait down where only the pests can get at it then would seem to be the answer.

The problem with anything that is poisonous to the pest is also poisonous to us human beings too. If the kids or pets can get to the bait, they will surely get very sick indeed so it is important that this is only left where the pest can get at it.

Also, any foodstuffs or dried food that is left in the garage, for example, should be covered or put in plastic bins since the rodents will urinate just about anywhere. There was a case of a woman who got terribly sick after purchasing a can of soda at a store and drinking from it without washing it first. Of course, no one would think that this would be a problem, but for her, it almost killed her. It was found that a rodent had urinated on the top and it had a particularly virulent disease at the time.
