More than 14 million people in North America have rosacea, a chronic skin condition. Women, fair-skinned people between the ages of 30 and 60 are more likely to be affected.
Symptoms and signs of rosacea include:
Areas of redness on your face
Small red bumps or pustules on your nose, cheeks, forehead, and/or chin
Small blood vessels on your nose and/or cheeks (called telangiectasia)
Tendency to flush or blush
Rosacea may also result in a red, bulbous nose, called rhinophyma, or a burning or gritty sensation in your eyes, called ocular rosacea.
you can learn more via the article in [Link Removed ] and you can get a clear picture of this sickness .

Is Daktacort a prescription medication? I've tried so many creams and none of them worked. I want to start trying more over the counter products so that I don't have to keep paying the deductible on my health insurance. I'm also hesitant to use a steroid cream because it can be very damaging to the skin and body. But if it works I just might take the leap and try it.

@smoothskin
What makes you think that what worked for shadowuk will work for you too ?
That kind of treatments must be prescribed by a dermatologist, after an investigation...

There is no cure for rosacea. These light therapy and lasers will selectively destroy the visible blood vessels (telangiectasia) while sparing the surrounding skin unharmed. The procedure so called selective photothermolysis. This procedure will sure minimize or completely treat the sign and symptoms of rosacea but will not cure. Maintenance therapy with topical agents is required for long term result. Several factors like skin type, lifestyle factors, and amount of sun exposure after laser therapy will affect the long-term result and can cause fare-ups of rosacea again. One should permanently avoid the triggering factors.

If you have a mild rosacea, some dermatologist recommend steroid topical cream. Topical steroids are seldom used to treat symptoms of eczema-psoriasis. So, I think it is always better to ask your dermatologist before trying anything.

Rosacea is a chronic skin condition that causes redness and swelling on your face. It also causes pus-filled bumps or pustules on your cheeks, chin, nose and forehead. Rosacea is also popularly known as ‘adult acne,’ as it leads to swelling and skin sores that look like acne.

Rosacea is a chronic, inflammatory skin condition which principally affects the face. Rosacea worsens with time if left untreated. It is often mistaken for acne or eczema, or some other skin allergy.
Rosacea appears to be more common among fair-skinned people and affects an estimated 5% of Americans. Although the causes are not fully understood and there is no cure, there are a number of ways to relieve symptoms.

Dermalmd Rosacea serum really did seem to make a difference with my rosacea. It started to clear up in just 2 days since I starting using it. In fact, it works better then the prescription cream my doctor prescribed. It is also not as harsh on my skin. I will continue to use it when I have flair-ups.
