This is very interesting. I am seeing a plastic surgeon on another matter next week and will ask him if he has heard of this as he does botox injections. It would be wonderful if it worked. As Retin-A has taken all of my lesions away I don't have one that he could even do a test on. But you never know, one could be sitting there ready to make my life miserable again,

Thank you for posting the link.

That would be a great success. They have done it for acne and some dermatologist already applied this for psoriasis with some success. I saw on some other sites, forgot the site name.

As promised I asked my plastic surgeon if he injected botox for psoriasis and he advised that we would have to see a derm. He explained that even when people get botox for migraines they have to see a nerosurgeon because he would know where the problem areas are. As these are all specialists doctors they are the only ones who would know exactly to place the botox. So, if anyone is seeing their derm please ask. It would be great to find out if this works or not.

A trial of Botox injections at the University of Minnesota follows the discovery that patients with dystonia — a neurological movement disorder — who also have psoriasis saw improvements in both conditions after treatment.

The toxin may have a beneficial effect on nerve cells that are involved in psoriasis
