We all know how important is good sleep to us. How moch do you sleep?

I always try to sleep at least 8 hours per day and usually I do it sucessfully. I usually sleep about 9, sometimes 10 hours. But I don't like sleep very much (like my cousin, probably sleeping 12 hours a day is usual to him:h9: ).
So what about you?

i have been a late night person and an early morning riser in my younger days. it was taking a toll on my body. a person needs regular sleep even if it is only for 5 or 6 hours. as long as it is a healthful, restful, sleep. today life is harder and your body and mind needs to refresh itself with sleep.

I normally sleep 6-7 hours per day. I cant really sleep that much at night because I have insomia. I think since Im already a bit old sleeping 6-7 hours a day is not that bad.

Studies show that people who sleep between 7 hr. and 7.5 hr. a night, as they report, live the longest. And people who sleep 8.5 hr. or more, or less than 6. hr., they don't live quite as long.

I try to sleep for at least 6 hours, but it's not enough for me. I have a small child and he is very restless and doesn't sleep well. My doctor even prescribed me pills for lack of sleep. I'm taking it now. It helps me not to go crazy and act effectively. I try to sleep during the day, but this is not enough. My husband works a lot and can't help me with this.

Recently, I began to sleep even worse. Now I sleep 5-6 hours a day. It's very stuffy at home, it's hard for me to fall asleep. How do you cope with the stuffy and hot in the bedroom?

Recently I have been sleeping very badly. I go to bed at 11 pm, but I fall asleep only 3-4 hours of the night. It seems to me that I cann't stand the heat, but since my son is sleeping with me, I cann't use the air conditioner. My friends advised me to choose a more comfortable bedding for the heat and try to use a fan. It seems to me that this should help to fall asleep earlier. I also want to change the mattress that is too hot in the summer and buy a blanket that can be used in the summer (I can't sleep without a blanket at all).

I used to suffer from the fact that no matter how much I slept, I still felt tired, sleepy and not ready to do anything. This went on for quite some time until my doctor diagnosed me with cervical osteochondrosis. This really surprised me, because I never thought that rare neck pains could be the cause of my constantly feeling unwell. I began to go for massage and completely replaced all my bedding. I replaced the mattress with a memory effect mattress. I think it also helped me to have a healthy sleep. Now I sleep 8 hours a day and I have no problems getting to sleep or waking up in a good mood, being more motivated and attentive. I believe that if a person has problems with sleep, then he just needs to find the reason and undergo treatment for this.

I'm sleeping for 9-10 hours a day, and still I cannot get enough. I struggle when I try to get up in the morning, and for the whole day I'm feeling sleepy. I only feel good when I'm not waken up by the alarm.

It is recommended that adults get 7-9 hours of sleep per night for optimal health and well-being. However, the amount of sleep that you specifically need may depend on various factors such as age, lifestyle, and individual needs. If you are unsure about how much sleep you should be getting, it is recommended that you speak with a healthcare professional for personalized advice.

7-8 hours of sleep per night to maintain good health and cognitive function. However, sleep requirements can vary depending on age, lifestyle, and individual factors, so it's important to listen to your body and prioritize restful sleep as a part of a healthy lifestyle.
