Nutrition is not just vital to your overall health, but is important to the health of your hair as well. While our bodies need a variety vitamins and minerals to support certain functions, there are specific ones that will promote healthy hair.

Check all nutritional labels before taking any supplements to determine your daily allowance. Believe it or not, it is possible to overdose on vitamins and minerals, and taking too much of these could possibly result in hair loss, or other health related issues.

Vitamin A- An antioxidant that helps maintain natural oils in the scalp. Can be found in milk, eggs, cheese, meats, spinach, broccoli, and cabbage.

Calcium – Helps hair growth. Can be found in dairy, nuts, and beans.

Vitamin C – One of nature’s most powerful antioxidants. Maintains healthy hair and skin. Can be found in fruits, potatoes, and green vegetables.

Chromium – Helps regulate blood sugar levels, which affects hair loss. Can be found in beef and whole wheat bread.

Vitamin E- An antioxidant that benefits scalp circulation. Can be found in vegetable oils, nuts, beans, and green vegetables.

Copper – Strengthens the hair and prevents hair loss. Can be found in shellfish, green vegetables, eggs, beans, and chicken.

Biotin – Produces keratin, which makes up the hair, skin, and nails. Can be found in eggs, whole grains, rice, and milk.

Iodine – Prevents dry hair and hair loss. Can be found in fish, seaweed, garlic, and iodized salt.

Inositol – Promotes follicle health. Can be found in whole grains and citrus fruits.

Iron – Prevents hair loss and anemia. Can be found in eggs, fish, chicken, whole grains, green vegetables, and dried fruits.

Vitamin B3 (Niacin) – Improves scalp circulation. Can be found in fish, chicken, turkey, and other meats.

Magnesium – Helps hair growth by working with calcium. Can be found in whole grains, green vegetables, nuts, and fish.

Vitamin B5 (Pantothenic Acid) – Prevents hair loss. Can be found in whole grains, eggs, and certain meats.

Manganese – Improves hair growth. Can be found in whole grains, eggs, nuts, beans, fish, and chicken.

Vitamin B6 – Prevents hair loss. Can be found in whole grains, vegetables, eggs, and certain meats.

Potassium – Promotes circulation and helps hair growth. Can be found in bananas, brown rise, garlic, nuts, dried fruits, raisins, and yogurt.

Vitamin B12 – Prevents hair loss. Can be found in eggs, fish, chicken, and milk.

Selenium – Promotes scalp health. Can be found in fish, whole grains, certain meats, and broccoli.

Silica – Creates stronger hair. Can be found in seafood, rice, and green vegetables.

Sulfur – Creates stronger hair. Can be found in garlic, eggs, onions, milk, cheese, and fish.

Zinc – Prevents dry hair and oily skin by working with Vitamin A. Can be found in mushrooms, spinach, whole grains, and red meat.

By creating a natural diet that provides the above vitamins and minerals, you can help prevent hair loss and even stimulate hair growth. It is also beneficial to take a daily vitamin that provides the above ingredients.

if your hair loss is genetic i don't know how much you can do. there are specialists that deal with hair loss. using rogaine,(minoxidil) will help but if you don't keep using it your hair will start to fall out again. in the us a lot of men just shave their heads when they start to go bald. i would rather see a bald head than see a man trying to cover his bald spot with hair from the sides. a good example would be donald trump. he looks ridiculous!

The first advice a physician hair restoration specialist might give a minor with hair loss is Don’t panic. I understand. Male pattern hair loss is a common, inherited condition and it is normal to be bothered by it. We can almost certainly find a way to manage it by making decisions tailored to your individual needs.

Why don not you consult with hair doc? It will help you. Hair loss can be due to tension and changing place and water.
Regular doing shampoo is not the solution. You must take green vegetables.

You might have Alopecia areata, Alopecia areata is an immune-mediated form of nonscarring
hair loss that often presents in childhood or adolescence. Although the exact pathogenesis of alopecia areata remains undetermined, it is hypothesized that, in genetically susceptible individuals, loss of immune privilege of the hair follicle leads to T-cell-mediated inflammation against anagen hair follicles.

Teens with patchy alopecia areata involving less than 50% of the scalp should be offered intralesional injections of corticosteroid as first-line treatment.

Regrowth is usually seen in 4–8 weeks. For those unable to tolerate injections, high-potency or ultra-potency topical steroids may offer some benefit, and efficacy may be enhanced if used with topical minoxidil.

You can also Anti-fall and Renewal Shampoo. It is a herbal product recommended by Jackie Chan. A few friends who have used it told me that it prevents hairs from falling and makes the hair thicker.

The product contains precious Chinese herbs extracts such as Gastraodia Tuber, Radix Rehmanniae, Sophora Flavescens, Polygonum, Cuscuta chinensis, Szechuan Lovage Rhizome ,Arborvitae Leaf. It can help to restrain and balance your sebum, nourish hair follicles, strengthen your hair root to make hair stronger and prevent hair loss.

At present, I am still using the Leimo Hair Treatment Pack as part of my daily hair care routine. I am indeed very thankful to Leimo because without it, I would have no way of stopping my hair loss problems. Without it, I probably would have had a worse case of excessive hair loss or major hair thinning.

Hormonal problems may cause hair loss Alopecia areata is an autoimmune disease that causes the hair to fall out in patches. If you have an overactive thyroid, or hypothyroidism, the hair may fall out. This hair loss usually can be easier to treat thyroid disease. Hair loss may occur if male or female hormones, called androgens and estrogens, are out of balance. Correcting the hormone imbalance may stop the hair loss.
