Recently i have tried Beeswax Lip Balm. made with natural ingredients. I can actually feel my lips healing up after I put it on. I love Burt’s Bees! It works great and smells great! It’s convenient because you can find it at most local stores, including Wall-Mart and Target. It’s inexpensive for the product you receive, so I’d definitely recommend it to everyone!

:p i prefer the lemon grass soap bar made and manufactured here in the Philippines... it lessens the oiliness of my face, the appearance of my pimple are starting to become less visible, and it sure is good for my skin coz all of its ingredients were made out of organic materials. no preservatives or any chemicals added... this soap is normally sold to organic market on the city hall of Makati City, Philippines... I don't know if they have started to post and make it available over the internet yet... but i think it will be advisable for them to do so...:h3:

I used to have terrible eye skin, you know - bags, puffiness, dark circles...it added at least 10 years to my real age, and I'm only 32!
My friend Sharon advised me about a new cream that as she said "cures such disasters", and gave me a website address to read about it. Of course I also had to try it, and I'm so glad I did. After 6 weeks there was a huge change, and after 3 months my eye skin is alive, shiny, and you can barely notice I had those raccoon eyes I keep use it every day, in the morning - and before I go to sleep. A real life saver, I recommend it to anyone!

You can learn about it on [ Link removed ]

I use SkinCeuticals products and also make my own Vitamin serum. Philosophy products are awesome as well. I must admit I am not too loyal to any one brand. Some of the products in one brand will work great whereas others not so much. So I am kind a fickle when it comes to skincare products.

For a sec I thought that you are working at Clinique, and that you're going to be mad of me because what I wrote... :)
Are you works in cosmetic company? does this forum represent any company?

About your question - Lets take for example their hair products. I notice that they contain types of silicone. although silicone make your hair feel very fresh and new after shower, for long distance it is very un-healthy to it. Natural products contain ingredients that replace the silicone, the feeling still stay great and your hair is more healthy, shiny and smooth.

Dr.Deepak
11-03-2009, 10:03 AM
Why should i be mad.. This forum is for sharing advice and suggestions.Every tips and advice is counted here unless they are spams or just site/product promotions.

This forum doesn't represent any company nor it is associated with any company products. Its all member powered site.

There are many controversies regarding Silicon hair products. But personally i think it would not damage if you take a good care esp during bath using a good Clarifying Shampoo atleast once or twice a week.

Roi
11-03-2009, 02:27 PM
Thank for clarification about the forum.

Silicon is only 1 example. There are many more, and when its getting to the face it even get worse.
Most of the people holding one kind of shampoo at home. they are not using one with Silicon and other that clarifying. But, If you're already using clarifying shampoo, that better than the one with Silicon, so why not use only with it?
At anyway. It is better not to get closer to every company that have money to publish itself on TV. Shampoo with natural ingredients known as better ones.

this site is fantastic. I have just started 2 groups, as a justretired paramedical beauty therapist, I thought I would share any information you need. I have been a paramedical therapist, specialising in skin and eyebrow design for over 20 years and still love beauty. Please feel free to join my groups. now my favourite products and the ones I use each day are the eli wilson living skin care range, they are so fantastic, easy and organic. the best part is that my whole family use them, from my teenagers for acne and breakouts and me of course for my "fine lines etc." dont know they have a proper site yet, but I do think you can get on and contact them.
girls, I have tried every product under the sun,the ones I stay away from are the cleansing wipes, just as a point of interest, too harsh for facial skin and really fussy about toxic chemicals.

I recently found a great product called LANMI Skin Care from Korea. I have been using it for about one week and have noticed a wonderful difference in my skin.

I can help others get the product from the local Korean distributor here in the Philippines. It is about 4000 Pesos for the 3 100 ML containers of Hydrate, Vitamin, and Collagen.

You can email me at cynthia_615@yahoo.com

i met a woman in brooklyn who has a whole line of organic face and body products that she makes out of her kitchen. her company is called Soapwalla Kitchen - soapwallakitchen.etsy.com - and she told me about why she started making these items (she has an autoimmune disease that creates super sensitive skin. she wasn't finding anything on the market that helped her so she started making her own stuff). now i swear by her stuff. i don't use anything else.

imagine showering with a single cleanser that covers your skin with a layer of sunscreen. Introducing klen - a shampoo, face, and body wash infused with spf 15 protection. Klen, enhanced with conditioners and antioxidants, leaves your hair and skin soft and smooth. Now your sunscreen is simply applied to the scalp, face, and body, without extra steps and the greasy residue of lotions and creams. We all have skin care products that we just can't live without. The ones that we gladly pay a premium on because they work. Or the ones that you can't believe work because they cost so little.

Maybe you've found a facial cleanser that completely cleared up your acne, or an eye cream that hides your dark circles. Or maybe it's an exfoliator that you just can't live without.

Some people call them their "Holy Grail" products, others call them "5-star" skin care products. Whatever you call them, share them with us so we can stop wasting our money on the hunt and go right to the stuff that works.

My elder brother is 30 years old. He was suffering from skin problems. His skin became dry and he was feeling uncomfortable. This stuff is awesome! It truly delivers on its promise to hydrate dry skin. My skin was cracking and peeling in places, but after a week, people were actually commenting on how good my skin looked. I got the recommendation off of the site [ Url Under review ], where you can actually buy the product right there. I especially like it because it sinks into your skin right away instead of staying oily or coming to the surface again after you exercise.

Has anyone tried Eucerin products? They have a new line of lotions called Eucerin Daily Skin Balance and, following in the Eucerin tradition, they help to balance skin's pH to build glowing, healthy skin. I am doing some work with Eucerin's Skin FIRST campaign and if anyone is interested in learning more about Eucerin and how you can keep your skin healthy, check out their Facebook page (http://www.facebook.com/EucerinUS). i have been using argon oil around my eyes and on my cheeks to moisturize during the day. it soaks in, doesn't feel greasy, and keeps my skin from itching around my eyes so therefore i don't rub them as often!!!unless i am having a bad day at work!!!

y34963

Yes, argon oil is awesome. I use it a lot in my potions. It really does absorb quickly and doesn't feel greasy at all.

I hadn't realized that it helps itching arounds the eyes. Good to know.

Do you have allergies? Is that why your eyes itch? I ask because a dear friend of mine has that problem and if argon oil helps for that I will pass that on to her. She would be extremely happy to find some that is organic that helps.

Vitamins are organic compounds that are destructible. Minerals are inorganic elements that are indestructible. Organic nutrients can be altered or destroyed, which means they can be metabolized in the body to release energy. Since they are simple elements, minerals are always the same---they can not be destroyed or create energy.

As energy nutrients, vitamins do many different jobs, including breaking down other nutrients and acting as antioxidants. Minerals work primarily in the skeleton but they can also interact with water to regulate the acid/base balance in the body and affect the contraction of muscles as well as the transmission of nerve impulses. Vitamins are necessary for red blood cells to be created. Minerals are necessary for oxygen to be carried through the blood.

Hey,
I was browsing through your suggestions and I thought all of them were very unique and interesting. It's definitely difficult to find skin-care products that are both organic and healthy on the body as well. I normally use products from Skin and Life and they're eco friendly and healthy enough to apply on small children and toddlers even.

I have quite sensitive skin and it easily gets irritated.
Face: Aloe Vera Gel products for my face, but for a face moisturizer after cleansing & toning, I use Garnier Youthful Radiance: UV protect SPF15

Body: victoria secret body butter for my skin, it not only really moisturizes the skin, its not thick and it smell really good and also the UV protect SPF 15. I also use antibacterial soap that i get from woolworths called saproderm.

My skin care routine is

AM: R+F Reverse exfoliating wash, skin lightening toner, skin lightening treatment and SPF 55 sunscreen. (usually takes 5 mins.)

PM: R+F Reverse regimen again (not including the SPF) with the addition of Overnight Restorative Cream. A couple of times a week I'll treat myself to the Night Renewing Serum....heavenly :)

How could I try all those things. My skin is so sensitive. I have cosmetics allergy, I don't even use make-up.

Soothe by Rodan + Fields is made specifically for sensitive skin. The scientific research that validates Rodan + Fields RFp3 technology (one of the ingredients in Soothe) was selected for publication and presentation at the American Academy of Dermatology's 69th Annual Meeting in 2011.

They also have a 60 day, empty bottle money back guarantee! :h10:

My mother uses Made from Earth skin products and she had always tell me that I might like to try them. I started using facial cream when I turned 30. I've tried a couple of brands, then finally come down to 2 brands.

Made from Earth got my attention when I heard the advertisement that it sold out within the first 17 minutes when it launched. So I went around looking for it. After more researching, I said to myself that it will be worth trying.

After using their pH Equilibrant Moisturizer for 1 month now, I can see less wrinkle, fine line and smoother skin compare to other products that I have used in the past. It doesn't leave any feeling that you have any cream on which I like and the scent is very mild which I also like. It lasted for more than a month per bottle and I use it every night. It is definitely the best cream and I have ever try.

The product that I can't live without is Enhancements Micro-Dermabrasion Paste by R+F. Huge jar of product that I've been using for 10 months and still have half a jar left. I use it at night 3 times a week in place of my regimen's wash. On face, feet and all the rough spots in between. It's a sugar and salt compound.....LOVE IT!!!

I use BeechTree products every day because they contain healthy ingredients and are made by a social enterprise. I love the different scents that actually smell REALLY good. Also the texture of my skin after using the lotion is the smoothest I have ever experienced.

I am so thankful I found out about them!!

They have a website http://beechtreeproducts.org

I have tried different brands through out the years. Finally settled down on Luminesce skincare line. After few weeks of using, I noticed that my face actually has a natural glow. My friends and beauty salon staff noticed it too. My skin tone has also become more even and lesser fine lines.

Obagi, skinmedica and neocutis are my favorites. They include growth factors and are physician dispensed products. Talk to your doctor about them! You wont find them in department stores. You can also find them online on sites such as dermavenue There are other sites that sell as well. These guys ahve a great chat that really helps me out though.
