well complications are usually minimal. It also depends on ones hand. Usually during laser therapy some light get absorbed and it is most responsible for the complications because laser light is converted to thermal energy by absorption of heat. In many cases, complications occurs from collateral damage created when energy intended for the target skin is nonselectively diffused to and absorbed by surrounding tissue.
Some might get allergic reaction or infection at the site of laser but it can be treated easily. Just make sure to get Laser from recommeded professional ones.
