Clindamycin Phosphate for acne in pregnancy

hello my doctor has prescribed Clindamycin Phosphate Topical for my acne. He said its safe to take it during pregnancy, but i'm worried if its really safe. i'm worried if anything happens to my child. Can anyone here help please.

yes its safe.you can use clindamycin when you're pregnant.

It does Crosses the placenta.There is no adequate data on human but there are no reported cases of fetal harm when used throughout pregnancy. So it can be safe. But do consult your doctor on timely basis for updates.

if you are worried about using clindamycin just do a dab on spots. it really helped me i still use it periodically. just dab each spot. let it dry and you are ready to go.
