Can you suggest me some cream or other treatment for removing pigmentation from finger joints? I have a fair skin at hands and feet. But my finger joints at hands have slightly darker skin than the rest of the hand. Its since birth, so, I know I'll be needing some masking agents. Same is present near nail beds in my toes. What should I use to lighten it?

I think the pigmentation is caused by excess melanin

its normal for male esp but as a beauty concern.. you can use some lemon juice ,or rub lemon on it and use gentle exfoliation .I'm not expert about any masking agents may be girls know it all. if its of serious concern(like diffuse pigmentation of finder joints, nail or arm or thigh) visit doc, he might do Cutaneous biopsy to rule out Acromelanosis(not a serious condition and treatment is only cosmetic) and prescribe as required.

I have tried using lemon and vinegar on my finger joints with some success only.

Actually, as I have said my problem looks more like a hereditary one. Will it be fine to go for a cosmetic surgery instead..But I am not sure if that would be effective.
