I was just reading that if you get a mild sunburn you can take a iced tea soaked guaze and put it on the burn for twenty minutes lie down, it will soothe the skin and even soften the skin while it soothes it. So try it the next time you get a mild burn and see how it works!

Apply an aloe/lavender combination:
Squeeze the gel from a whole aloe leaf and add one or two drops of lavender essential oil. Lightly apply the gel to sunburned skin. Repeat two or three times a day until the pain subsides. This powerful antiseptic and antibacterial formula that can speed the healing process.

Another great remedy for sunburn is vinegar. Just apply it with a cool cloth (very carefully) or if you have a spritzer bottle spritz it on the burn. Works like a charm.

tea has an ingredient called tannin. and it can be very good for burns. it soothes the skin. pure aloe is another good thing for sunburn. there are products that are for after tanning that moisturise the skin. yes, y34963 vinegar is also good for sunburns. the main objective is not to get burned in the first place. maybe use a higher pfc.

Milk is also a good food remedy for sun burns. To get relief apply on affected area using a cloth.

Appling ice to the burned area is beneficial.

Using cold tea bags will remove tanning from the sunburns.

Sliced small pieces of raw cucumber or potato and applying to affected area will reduce redness and inflammation caused by sunburn. Application of sandal wood paste also provide relief from the burning sensation.
