Hello friends, I never had dandruff in my hair until last year when I started developing small flakes in my scalp. I had changed my shampoo at that time..but when I started getting dandruff, I again switched on to my previous shampoo. The problem is the dandruff has still not gone. In fact, it is getting worse and I have to wash my hair every two days to ensure I don't develop it because it gets quite itchy then. Any solutions?:(

My advice, just go and ask to some aspect about hair. You can see that all of us have different type of hair right? Maybe your shampoo that you use now not good for your hair. Try ask them which one shampoo its suit with your hair and can solve your dandruff problem.

Just a side question: why don't you wash your hair every day? Where are you from? I guess you live in a cold place because I'm from the Philippines and I need to have a shower every day. I do it even twice a day when I go to the gym for a workout.

Anyway, perhaps you should try using an anti-dandruff shampoo instead of the old shampoo you've always used? I use Head & Shoulders from time to time to prevent dandruff. I had the same condition a while back and I never want to have it again! Who would? You might also want to use a shampoo that doesn't leave any residue-I think Neutrogena has one. And make sure to wash all the shampoo before using conditioner so that there isn't any build up in your scalp. :)

In the meantime, avoid wearing black because it only makes the flakes more visible. :( I know it's not a solution to your problems at all but it's a tip that I hope would be useful to you. :)

Just a side question: why don't you wash your hair every day? Maybe that person not have chance to do that. Who know right? Must be that person have a reason for that.

Alice… may be contents of the product have changed, or it is possible that you used some very old stock from the market. Could the water supply in your area have changed? As a first step, sock some neem leaves overnight and then boils them in water. Use this water for the last rinse after you have washed your hair. I know neem has very good effect on dandruff.
