I'm 18 years old girl with pimples problem.I have been using Adapalene and Clindamycin Phosphate Gel.it is really good but there are small pores with black color.I also apply powder on my face. But when i wash my face,it becomes oily again.Should i not eat oily foods? Some say eating fresh fruits helps. Is it true? Some even say it occurs due to imbalance in blood. Is that true? please suggest.

Let me tell you, three out of 4 girls of your age in some form, have the same problem as yours.Prevention is the secret to avoid pimples. You should take all the precaution necessary to prevent pimples.

Keep your face oil free as oiliness is one of the major causes of pimples.Wash your face with a normal soap, morning and evening.Use soap mainly on the upper half of the face, more precisely on the T-Zone,which is made of the forehead, nose and naso-labial folds.Do not use it excessively.

Avoid/reduce all oily creams, sunblocks, cosmetics and hair oils.

Do not squueeze pimples, which usually causes inflammation and later leave scar.Let them dry gradually,it will take some time.

The small black pores you are talking about are black heads or open comedones. With the treatment (adapalene)that your are using,it may take some time for the black heads to go.

Application of powder on the face is not good for acne as they block the skin pores.Frequent and mild washing with soap is better to keep the face dry.

A diet with low fat and sugar is good. One green vegetable and one fruit a day is a healthy habit.

Pimples are not related to imbalance to blood or blood impurities

Thats true Zenisha! If your diet lacks enough vitamins and minerals that impart skin a natural tone and sheen, your oil glands can become hyperactive. There is no such thing like impurities in blood though. Anemia can lead to a dull skin but never to pimples. At your age, girls often get pimples because of the hormonal changes that take place in the mean time and our oil-glands become secreting more oil, that is further acted upon by the bacteria that are normally present in our skin. All this leads to clogging of pores and little infection that can cause filling of pus in pimples. Don't worry. Just eat a good diet with plenty of fruit and eat lot of water.

Also, make a habit of cleaning your face before going to bed with a good oil-free cleanser.

Avoid/reduce all oily creams, sunblocks, cosmetics and hair oils. I agree about this one admin. If you can, try to avoid this one girls. I know many girls love this stuff. Its weird right why girls need all this stuff?? Using water already enough if you know how to take care about your face and skin. Sometimes pimples comes to your face because you use too many health cream and oil everyday.
